the history and look at examples of wood engraving
about Image design
how to prepare the blocks and transfer drawings
methods of carving the block using traditional engraving tools.
how to print your wood block (without a press)
Participation includes an honored printmaking tradition – the print exchange! At the end of the workshop, students exchange prints – a perfect way to start your own art collection.
